This was my first attempt at a full loop. My build (its been a while as I'm updating this in 2024!) was something like:
- Asus Maximus Code VII
- Intel i7 7700K
- Nvidia 1080 Ti Founded Edition
- EKWB for everything (blocks, fittings, tubes, radiators)
- Corsair Maglev RBG Fans for the good stuff
- EVGA G3 850 Watt PSU
Below is a gallery of my first attempt. Its very organic (haha) but all in all it was a good learning experience.
Also the first attempt used my old ITX motherboard from a Fractal Design Nano S (solid.) I think I had planned to build it once to learn to bend knowing I was going to replace the motherboard soon thereafter and run the lines with some experience. It clearly shows as the second build looks alright! Shows how useful iteration is.
After the initial build with radiators to the side and the top, I decided I wanted to rearrange the build with the rads at the top and bottom in an attempt to make it easier to drain 😂.
I also added many more fans and Corsair controllers. This build was much quieter. I don't remember the temps but this was overkill at the time. The CPU was probably from 2017/2018 and the GPU was being replaced by Nvidia 20 series RTX with ray tracing.
